What is that at the corner of Glassford Hill and Highway 69? Four crazy guys trying to sell Sundogs season tickets.
Here's the press release from the Sundogs:
"Join the Arizona Sundogs as they continue their "Whatever it Takes" Campaign. The Sundogs are asking for your support in an effort to fill the arena for their upcoming 2013-14 Central Hockey League Season.
"Members of the Arizona Sundogs management team will be hoisted 33-feet above Prescott Valley, on the corner of Highway 69 and Glassford Hill Road beginning Sunday, April 21, 2013 at noon. Brad Fain, Chris Presson, Lew Rees and Sundogs Captain, Jason Morgan have generously agreed to remain in the lift, 24-hours a day until their goal of 300 new season tickets are sold. They will be demonstrating their dedication to this campaign by eating, sleeping and working from the lift, while withstanding whatever mother nature throws at them, in an effort to gain the commitment of the town. Sales Representatives will be onsite with information about Season Tickets and will be available to reserve your seats.
"Numerous businesses in the tri-city area are lending their support and encouraging their customers to sign up now.
"During the team's first couple seasons there were 2,500 season ticket holders, so we know our fans are there," said Chris Presson, Arizona Sundogs' General Manager. "We're asking for everyone to reserve their tickets now. Our team played hard all season and in the last few months we have proven to ourselves, the community and the league that we are a contending team and one to watch out for."
"The Arizona Sundogs are the Central Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Phoenix Coyotes. Season ticket information is now available by calling (928) 759-6600 or visiting arizonasundogs.com.
As of late Sunday night, they had sold about 20 season tickets.
