Dana Seavey knocked down a tough shot off the glass, and it was 32-26. Seavey said, "This was a big win for us. It was really nice to come back and beat them, especially after losing the one over there." Eve Hawker's layup on a nice pass from Hollie Dalton, prompted Mingus to call a timeout with 7:12 left and a 34-26 Lady Badger lead.

After the timeout, the Marauders went on a 9-0 run to take a one point lead, 35-34 with 2:55 to play. Kira Reily made one of two free throws to tie the game at 35. Jones made the first, but missed the second. the miss went to the Marauders, but Prescott got the ball back after the Mingus threw the ball out of bounds with :15 left, and the game tied at 37.

Prescott dialed it up, when Hollie Dalton drove towards the basket, then dishing the ball to Kira Reily who knocked down the game winning shot. Mingus got the rebound on the free throw by Reily, as time ran out. Riley said, "We really wanted to get this one, since they beat us over there." Hollie Dalton said about the final seconds, "I just try to get the ball to the Kira while drawing the defense to me. She made the shot that gave us the win."
