Republican Senate Challenger Daniel McCarthy to Speak in Prescott

21 October 2019   Jim Dutton

Daniel McCarthy is challenging Martha McSally for the U.S. Senate seat.

The local chapter of Yavapai County’s Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR) has announced that U.S. Senate Candidate Daniel McCarthy, will speak at their upcoming meeting, Saturday, October 26, 2019, 11AM, at the VFW in Prescott Valley. Mr. McCarthy, a 34 year old real estate and cosmetics entrepreneur from Glendale, is mounting a conservative challenge to incumbent Republican Martha McSally, in a campaign emphasizing Trumpian themes of border security, limited government, Constitutional principles, states' rights and traditional family values. He argues that Arizona needs bolder conservative leadership from a candidate who has a background in the private sector and who is not beholden to the political establishment.

The Yavapai County chapter of Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic is a group of conservative activists dedicated to defending and promoting the values of representative government set forth in the United States Constitution. The group is a private organization and is not directly affiliated with any political party. However, most members are registered Republicans or conservative leaning Independents who are civically engaged or are current or former elected officials or candidates for office.

The group meets monthly at 11am at the VFW in Prescott Valley. Recent speakers include Arizona GOP Chair, Dr. Kelli Ward, Congressman Paul Gosar (CD4), Congressman Andy Biggs (CD5), and former Secretary of State Ken Bennett. ConCR is a membership organization. However, in the interest of informing the public about Daniel McCarthy’s candidacy and promoting civic engagement, his talk has been opened to the general public. Admission is free but seating is limited and an RSVP is requested. The VFW is located at 2375 N 5th Street, Prescott Valley.

Mr. McCarthy will discuss his insurgent candidacy and why he believes a conservative challenge to Senator McSally is needed. He will share his personal story of early success in business, his faith and family values, and his political awakening as a conservative activist and advocate for freedom. Time will be reserved for questions from the audience.

ConCR President Jim Dutton invites “solid conservatives looking for an organization that reflects their values” to attend Saturday's meeting. Please RSVP to
