Election Ballots Pouring In
Featured

07 November 2016

As of Monday morning, 72,105 ballots have been returned and processed in Yavapai County.

According to the Yavapai County Registrar’s office, out of 137,390 registered voters, they have issued 106,870 ballots so far. The term “issued” refers to ballots that were both mailed out and also those that were cast early before 5 PM last Friday.

By 10:30 AM on Monday, 72,105 of those ballots have been returned and processed, which is 52.5% of the number of registered voters. This year, there are approximately 10% more registered voters in Yavapai County than there were in 2012.

Here is how the numbers compare to the presidential election in 2012:

If you have not mailed in your ballot, it’s too late now! The Recorder’s office states, "All Early Ballots must be dropped off at the Yavapai County Recorder’s Office, any Yavapai County Vote Center or Ballot Drop Box Location no later than 7pm on Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Do not mail in your ballot. Late ballots will not be tabulated. Be sure to sign your affidavit envelope in your original handwriting."
