Northpoint Graduates Go Out in Style

22 May 2015

Northpoint Graduates prepare for new life experiences.

In years past, Northpoint graduates celebrated their most significant high school achievement at the Rowle P. Simmons Adult Center. But, this year the Class of 2015 graduated in style at the lovely Elks Theater.

The 33 students made up the largest graduating class ever for Northpoint Expeditionary Learning Academy. This was also Mr. Charles Mentken’s first year as the Director of Northpoint, one that he found to be both exhilarating and challenging.

During their Northpoint experience, students used laptops instead of textbooks, participated in fieldwork and community service, focused on intensives and a very hands-on learning environment. Two-thirds of the students took advantage of international travel opportunities.

Now, they are heading off to experience new adventures through college, travel and work experience.

Congratulations, Class of 2015. You’ve worked hard to get here - now go astound the world!

Here is a poster of photos from the Northpoint graduation. Please feel free to share with your friends and family, download and print. Enjoy!
