Weather Discussion:

Sunny and breezy conditions to start the week, with less wind by Wednesday. Cooler temperatures today through Thursday morning. Light frosts are possible at higher elevation valleys Wednesday and Thursday mornings due to drier air, lighter winds and cold air ponding. Some moisture returns by Thursday and Friday with warming temperatures and a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in eastern Arizona.

Additional notes for the weather nuts out there:

Last week’s storms produced 0.5 to 2.0 inches of rainfall in the Prescott area, with even higher amounts to our south and southeast, including 3.5 inches at Black Canyon City.

Meanwhile, to our west, a record-breaking snowstorm has been occurring in parts of California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada and Utah. See

Have another wonderful week,
