Last Monday, on July 16, the Thumb Butte recreational area was reopened to the public after a pair of peregrine falcons finished their annual nesting. Although volunteers did report siting the pair, it is not yet known whether the falcons were successful nesters this year, according to a press release from the National Forest Service (NFS)

Fire Restrictions Lifted

As of Friday morning, all fire restrictions have been lifted in the Prescott National Forest and the City of Prescott.
When you work together, study together and and live together on a campus, it feels almost like family. So, when the faculty and students at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) found out that two of their graduates, David Schlosser and Tyler Price, died in a plane accident on Sunday, the news hit hard.
